## Mental health screening: common questions

**Q: Is it confidential?**

A: Yes. Your answers and results are private to you.

**Q: What do the scores mean?**

A: PHQ-9: 5 mild, 10 moderate, 15 moderately severe, 20 severe. GAD-7: 5 mild, 10 moderate, 15 severe. PSS-4: 6 moderate, 11 or more high stress. Higher scores come with a recommendation to see a professional.

**Q: What if I am in crisis?**

A: Any answer about self-harm brings up urgent support straight away. In Kenya you can call Befrienders Kenya on +254 722 178 177 or the Kenya Red Cross toll-free line 1199.

**Q: What does it cost?**

A: KES 100 on its own, or as part of the Plus package (KES 500) with care navigation.
