**Q: How much does SHA cover for cancer?**

A: Up to KES 800,000 a year under Legal Notice No. 78 of 2026, up from earlier limits of KES 400,000 and KES 550,000.

**Q: What does it pay for?**

A: Consultations, chemotherapy sessions, radiotherapy sessions, and scans including CT, MRI, PET and PSMA, as set out in the package.

A: Kenyatta National Hospital, Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and KUTRRH are national centres, with regional cancer centres in several counties.
