In Kenya, men aged 55 to 69 are offered a PSA blood test after talking through its benefits and limits, and men with a family history start from 40. After a normal result, the test is repeated about every 2 years.

What does it cost?

The Social Health Authority benefit tariffs list a PSA test at KES 1,500 at facilities that offer it. Private laboratory prices vary.
