## Cancer screening in Nairobi: common questions

**Q: Where are you based?**

A: My Wellness Health Center, Fortis Suites, Upper Hill, Nairobi.

**Q: Which screening will I need?**

A: It depends on your age, sex and risk: a clinical breast exam or mammogram, an HPV test or VIA, a PSA test, or a stool test. The assessment tells you which is due.

**Q: Is cancer screening covered by SHA?**

A: SHA's Primary Healthcare Fund lists breast, cervical, prostate and colon cancer screening at facilities that offer it.

**Q: What does it cost?**

A: KES 300 for the five cancer risk assessments. Assessment and package fees do not include tests, scans or consultations at the facility, which you pay there by cash, card, mobile money or insurance.
