## Pap smear and HPV test in Nairobi: common questions

**Q: Which test should I have?**

A: An HPV test every 5 years is preferred; VIA or a Pap smear every 3 years where HPV testing is not available.

**Q: What does an HPV test cost?**

A: The SHA benefit tariffs list an HPV test at KES 3,600 at facilities that offer it. Screening is also often free during county campaigns.

**Q: Where are you?**
