My Wellness Health's hypertension assessment asks about 45 questions on your last blood pressure check, diagnosed conditions, family history, waist, salt, activity, alcohol, tobacco and sleep, then tells you your risk and when your next check is due.

What does it ask about?

When your blood pressure was last measured; diagnosed hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, kidney or heart disease and whether they are followed up; family history; stroke; high blood pressure in pregnancy; waist size; salt; activity; alcohol; tobacco; snoring and daytime sleepiness.

What do the colours mean?

Red means seek urgent care now, orange means arrange a clinical assessment, yellow means work on risk factors and any due checks, and green means keep up healthy habits.

How often will it tell me to check?

Every 6 months from age 40, otherwise every 12 months.

Does it include monitoring?

Yes. Packages include free blood pressure monitoring, so you can log readings over time.

What does it cost?

KES 200 for the hypertension and diabetes assessments together, or KES 500 in the Plus package with care navigation. Assessment and package fees do not include tests, scans or consultations at the facility, which you pay there by cash, card, mobile money or insurance.
